I am currently working on a website which is running WordPress 4.4.2 and WooCommerce 2.5.5.
Today I have noticed I can no longer save any content, the page just times out when clicking the update or save button for any post type.
Running my virus software (Avast!) I found a virus in: /plugins/woocommerce/assets/js/jquery.payment.js of the site so thought it best to download a fresh .zip of WooCommerce. When I try to download the latest WooCommerce, either from here, GitHub or the WooCommerce website Avast! blocks it as it says there is a virus in the jquery.payment.js file (Threat: Other: Malware-gen [Trj).
It seems too much of a coincidence for the website to stop functioning correctly and Avast! to find virus. Do you think this is the reason behind my current saving problem or is Avast! being over protective?
