deanna23 on "Malware Take over. Plz Help!"

Google notified me a couple of weeks ago that my site has malicious content. I tried doing some research on my own to find the corrupted files but to be honest, I really do not know what I am looking for.

Host Gator did do a complete scan of my site. It seemed to have helped by eliminating most of the malware re-directs, but after perusing my site, I am still having issues. I did also purchase site lock today, but I realize that will not necessarily fix my current issue.

When I thought my site was clear after the Hostgator scan, I tried to do a back up using the plug in "backup buddy". I got this error when the back up failed:

All of my plugins and WP are updated. I am running WP 4.2.2

Can anyone advise me on how to remove this?
FYI: I am a very basic WP user so please explain steps in detail for me to follow.
